Who Should I Bring to My Bridal Appointment? (and why we suggest keeping it small)

Saying yes to your wedding dress is one of the most exciting moments of your wedding journey—and having the right people by your side can make it even more special. At Ivory & Main, we want you to feel supported, celebrated, and completely confident during your appointment. That’s why we recommend being intentional about who you invite to join you.
Bring Your Biggest Cheerleaders
The best guests for your bridal appointment are those closest to you—family or friends who know you well, love you unconditionally, and will give honest advice while keeping your happiness at the center of the day.
Your dress decision is about you, so choose people who will celebrate your vision, not try to change it. A supportive guest knows how to give feedback with kindness and will hype you up every step of the way.
Why Smaller is Better
While it’s tempting to bring your entire bridal party, more voices can sometimes mean more confusion. We suggest keeping your group small—no more than 3 guests—so you can focus on how you feel in each gown without being overwhelmed by too many opinions.
Our try-on area comfortably fits 3 guests, but if your group is okay with getting cozy, we can accommodate up to 4 during a regular appointment.
Need More Space? Go VIP!
If you’re envisioning a big entourage—more than 4 guests—you’ll need to book a VIP appointment to make the experience comfortable for everyone. Our Boujee Bride VIP package is perfect for larger groups and comes with extra time, space, and elevated touches to make your dress shopping day unforgettable.
The Bottom Line
Your bridal appointment is your time to shine, so bring the people who make you feel your most confident, supported, and loved. Whether it’s your mom, your sister, your best friend, or all three, the right crew will make your “yes” moment one you’ll treasure forever.
Ready to find your dream dress? Book your appointment now—VIP or regular—and let’s make magic happen.
